South Canterbury Racing Club - Christmas Gallops Meeting

Come and enjoy the action of thoroughbred racing and the South Canterbury Racing Club's Christmas Meeting featuring the Craigmore Sustainable Holdings Timaru Cup of $65000

If you are staying home for Christmas and want to support a local event – come to the races!

28 December – first race approximately 2.00pm.

$10 entry fee for adults – under 18 free.

Heaps of free novelty events for the kids, with cash prizes – colouring in competition, running races, kiddies winning numbers, Kids Best Summer Look, best dance moves, lolly scramble!!!!

For the grown-ups there is Fashion in the Field competition, sponsored by Kings Shoes Temuka - first prize $500, second $300, third $100, also lucky punter draws

You can pack a picnic or there is an on course café and bar with undercover betting facilities.
