New Zealand National Bridge Congress 2022

The New Zealand National Bridge Congress will be hosted online.

This highly anticipated event was scheduled to be hosted in Mount Maunganui on February 10th - 17th but has pivoted to be an online event in response to New Zealand moving into the red light setting in the COVID-19 Protection Framework.

This highly anticipated event, sees the best Bridge players from across the country come together to compete and celebrate the card game they love.

The New Zealand National Bridge Congress sees top international level players mix and meet less experienced players and vice versa, it is a rich exchange and highly exciting environment.

This event includes national events for all categories of competitive bridge players, Open, Intermediate and Junior.

NZ Bridge Inc is the governing organisation that oversees Bridge in New Zealand and is one of 104 countries affiliated to the World Bridge Federation.

New Zealand Bridge has around 14,000 registered Bridge players who belong to 110 affiliated clubs from Kerikeri in Northland to Invercargill in the South.

Bridge is a game for life. Played by all ages, across the world, Bridge becomes a lifelong fascination and an instant community for all who play it.

Players are required to register to participate. Spectators and supporters are welcome to attend free of charge. My Vaccine Pass required for this event.
