Backyard Buffs and Pitmaster Pros will go head to head over coals for prestige, points and prizes in our SCA (Steak Cook Off Association of NZ) "Mind If I Smoke" Adults BBQ competition - PLUS our Kids Hamburger Cook-Off!
More than $10,000.00 in cash and prizes must be won!
Throughout the day, over 30 competitors will cook 2 steaks, competing for a $1000 first prize each time! Plus we have two ancillary challenges that will tap the imagination and measure skill and creativity at the grill. In addition to cash prizes in each category, there are Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion BBQ prizes plus valuable competition points up for grabs as competitors seek to advance up the National SCA Competition Ladder
