Manawa Ora Mirimiri Community Clinic Day - Nelson

Experience traditional Māori bodywork and healing; MIRIMIRI and ROMIROMI with one of our 10 practitioners offering treatment at the Manawa Ora Mirimiri Community Clinic Day - ONE DAY ONLY - in NELSON.

Mirimiri and Romiromi is traditional Māori bodywork and healing. Treatment is holistic and includes body alignment, deep tissue work and release of stress and tension by applying pressure to specific points on the body.

If you have never experienced Mirimiri or Romiromi before, this is your opportunity! Treatment is beneficial for conditions of pain, misalignment, sports or work injuries and stress & tension, while also supporting the body to realign and rebalance energetically.

Jolie Davis (Te Rarawa/Ngāti Kurī) is heading a team of Wellington-based practitioners who are undertaking an 18-day mirimiri roadshow through Te Waipounamu (South Island) in March 2022.

The purpose of the roadshow is to promote mirimiri and romiromi (traditional Māori bodywork and healing) as effective and holistic treatment to restore and maintain individual, whānau and community wellbeing.

Please note as per the new Ministry of Health Guidelines (from Dec 3rd onwards) You will need your VACCINE PASS to gain entry.

Mask wearing is also REQUIRED.

Please ensure you are well with no cold or flu symptoms on the day.

We are restricting numbers at the venue - only people who are attending for treatment will be admitted.
