In this two hour walk around Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā with professional forager Mike King you’ll learn about edible plants, natives and exotics.
Following that we gather in the Tree House Visitors Centre to sample homemade foraged ice cream flavours and chat about our discoveries.
Meeting place is outside the front of the Tree House Visitors Centre at the Botanic Gardens in Wellington.
Please bring good walking shoes and a rain jacket if needed.
The Ice creams are mostly with a dairy base. If you are dairy-free let me know and ill make sure to bring along some dairy-free ice cream options along.
Please bring a mask and be aware that vaccinations are mandatory for everyone attending the Botanic Gardens Venues.
