Come along to a morning of inspiration, slow stitching using old vintage linen and doilies. Create a small art piece, using hand embroidery, free machining, and appliqué. Learn about composting, thought process, and colour to create an art piece. Learn how to use solvy to transfer an image. Bring in an heirloom piece or an op shop find, the piece can be old, torn, and stained. Just bring in basic sewing things such as pins, needles, threads and scissors. Everything else will be supplied. To start the creative process think about an image from a dream/nightmare or words or a short verse- something meaningful. Bring along any things you have made with old linen or doilies to share.
