The Big Sing 2021 Cadenza Gala Concert

Cadenza is a two day competition of 12 of the best secondary school choirs of the Upper North Island competing against and singing with each other.

The Gala Concert is a culmination of these two days and a feast of music as each choir presents a song individually as well as performing together in a large massed choir. Cadenza is organised by the NZ Choral Federation and has grown out of The Big Sing competition.

There are four adjudicated sessions the public are welcome to attend. These are on Monday 16 August 11am - 12.30pm and 2.15pm - 3.45pm; and on Tuesday 17 August 10am - 12noon and 1pm - 2pm.
