Papakura Street Art Tours

Join us on a fun adventure in Papakura Town Centre as we celebrate the Matariki season with one of our custom street art tours. This FREE interactive outdoor walking tour profiles local artists with guest speakers on local history and Māori culture with kai (food) provided at the end.

Papakura Town Centre is home to over 20 outdoor murals that successfully blends well-known NZ street artists with emerging local talent.

Street Artearoa is Auckland’s first dedicated street art tour company and works within local communities to showcase street art and support mural artists.

FREE. Please book only if you intend to attend as places are strictly limited. Not showing up means others miss out.

This tour is suitable for all fitness levels.

The tour is around 1.5km and the majority of it is flat and on sealed footpaths. Please wear suitable footwear.

This tour is suited for people aged 16 years and older. Participants under 16 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.

The tour is 1.5 hours with lunch provided at the end. Please get in touch if you have any specific dietary requirements.

This is a rain or shine tour. A lot of the tour is under shop awnings but we advise that you dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if it looks like raining.

Auckland is currently in Alert Level 1 and we will follow the guidelines provided by the New Zealand Government for gatherings and events.

We will meet outside the entrance of the Papakura Art Gallery.
