Albany local Rebecca-Soojung Lee plays a short concert on the digital organ at Holy Cross church. The concert will feature music by J.S. Bach in celebration of his birthday (336 years young on this day!)

Rebecca-Soojung was born in Korea and immigrated to NZ as a child. She is is making a name for herself as a skilled and sensitive organist. She won the 2018 National Organ Performance Competition and has played solo concerts and with orchestras including the Auckand Philharmonia - she will be worth coming to hear.

The organ in Holy Cross Church is a digital replica of a pipe organ, and was installed in 2012 after community fundraising efforts, spearheaded by Anne Connolly-Munt.

Presented by Auckland Organ Association and Albany-Greenhithe Anglican Church. Admission free (koha towards costs would be appreciated). If COVID Alert Level prevents holding this on 21 March then it will be postponed to 18 April.
