Join your local guide Tina Rae Carter and see Lower Hutt’s town centre transformed as 6 urban walls are revived into marvellous murals by 13 renowned graffiti artists from TMD (The Most Dedicated) Crew in the TMD Street Art Festival. In this guided tour you’ll get up close and personal with each of the murals-in-progress, and hear from the artists at work as they share a little about the stories behind each piece.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions and meet at The Dowse Art Museum reception area for a 3 pm sharp departure.

The Most Dedicated: Street Art Festival takes place in Lower Hutt CBD over four days from 27 – 30 March 2021, featuring a selection of new murals painted throughout the Lower Hutt CBD by Aotearoa’s most renowned international street art collective. The festival marks the opening of TMD’s first major public museum display, The Most Dedicated: An Aotearoa Graffiti Story, on exhibition at The Dowse Art Museum from 27 March - 22 August 2021. Featuring the work of over 20 of its members, visitors will be able to delve into the origins and evolution of this graffiti supergroup.
