Guided walks for the whole family with our experienced educators from Mangere Mountain Education Centre.

On Tuesdays we will cover the Māori history , as our mana whenua guides give you an insight into how their tūpuna made their home on this archeologically significant maunga.

On Thursdays we will look at the volcanic history of Māngere Mountain beginning with its formation in a dramatic series of eruptions 70,000 years ago. Come and explore the volcanic features that can still be seen today.

Bring a water bottle, sunscreen and hat.

Meet at Mangere Mountain Education Centre, 100 Coronation Road, Mangere Bridge.
