Lavender Harvest Festival

In Mt Holdsworth, Carterton, nestled in the foothills of the Tararua Range is a place of magic just waiting to be discovered. Lavender Magic is home to a lavender farm created by Pauline and her partner Wayne.

For over 15 years their hard work and determination has created a restful haven amongst the rows of carefully planted lavender plants. Every summer the flowers are lovingly collected and distilled to produce their beautiful lavender oil. The oil is then used by Pauline to make a wide range of therapeutic balms, creams, sprays and soaps.

Come and visit this idyllic lavender farm and gardens as they prepare and start the lavender harvest.

Note: This lavender is not typical of regular lavender farms and you will not be able to pick your own lavender. Products are available and there is a gold coin entry per adult.
