The Incubator Creative Hub is proud to bring you Kabuku - an Exhibition by Ulemj Glamuzina.
KABUKU means ‘to learn’ and ‘to be out of the ordinary’. The project is mainly inspired by Kabuki and Nihon Buyo.
Ulemj aims to share her love of Japanese culture through the work - inspired by the art of singing and dancing, while bringing to the surface her memories and emotions evoked by different people and experiences from her time in Japan.
Her work is closely connected to the themes of belonging, acceptance, and communication. Through her work Ulemj expresses her feelings and strives to connect and evoke a response in the imagination of the viewer.
