Christmas in the Domain

A FREE Christmas event for our community, a time to come together and celebrate.
To be held in the Hororata Domain, Canterbury.

Christmas Carols with the Selwyn Community Choir
Live Music including a performance by the amazing 'Thingymajig' band!
Entertainment - full programme will be available on the website
Free children’s entertainment – Pedalmania bikes, archery, face painting, balloon twisting and more.
Hororata Fire Brigade Slip and Slide – bring your togs (weather dependant).
Please bring something to donate to the giving tree (food will be donated to the local food bank and toys will go to the City Mission).
Hot food, Ice Cream and Coffee will be available - bring cash!
You are welcome to bring a picnic, make sure you bring a rug or chair as there will be no seating provided.

While this is a FREE event we ask people to register so we can manage numbers.
Everyone who registers will go in the draw to win 1 of 4 $50 Z fuel cards thanks to Southfuels. Winners will be drawn at 6 pm at the event, winners must be present to claim their prize.

This event can run under the NZ government's 'orange level' in the protection framework which means a COVID vaccine certificate is mandatory for people over 12 years to attend this event.
We will scan these at the gate. Please respect the volunteers working hard to make this event happen under these new rules.
