Weave your own Big & Beautiful Shopping Basket - Creative Flax Weaving & Dyeing Workshop

No more plastic bags - create your own natural fibre shopping basket instead!

This workshop is suitable for beginner, intermediate and experienced weavers. All participants will have the opportunity to prepare, dye and weave NZ flax/harakeke, and will create their own beautiful big "shopping basket" to take home with them. This basket has a rectangular shaped base, and handles for carrying.

Beads, feathers and paua shell pieces will be available at the workshop for decorating your basket. Feel free to also bring any other items you wish to use for decorating.
