Isabella and Demeter Kenton-Dau’s new exhibition at the Pumanawa Gallery in Christchurch Arts Centre launches on Monday 16th March. “Through New Eyes” features the latest work from these talented Mount Pleasant twins who had their first exhibition in Diamond Harbour when they were just 7.

Now 17, Bella and Demeter are raising funds to travel to Europe later in the year. A portion of sales is being donated to their long-standing charity DogWatch.

The exhibition runs for a week. For sale are original canvases, prints and gift cards from their work. The launch at 6pm on Monday includes wine but space is limited to 70 people so come early! If you bring along a picture of your favourite pet, Bella and Demeter also offer personalised commissions.

With paintings now in collections in Australia, France, and the United States, Isabella and Demeter are another example of New Zealand’s vibrant art community.
