Join New Zealand guitar legend Jimi Kara and local guitar-slinger, Cameron Walsh, for a great night of fun and guitar playing. Served up on a platter for a one-off electrifying night of your favourite red hot blues-rock music.

Jimi Kara has gone from touring America as a live guitar gun for hire for various bands and recording sessions and doing his own blues solo shows in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California for 2 months last year to going to the U.K and recording a brand new acoustic blues album of his original songs with Nick Reynolds, Harmonica player from Alabama 3.

He has now just signed a Management Deal with Value-added Talent for 4 years with Dan silver who has helped launch and further careers for some of the biggest acts in UK.

Working with Alabama 3, Sade, Orbital, Sonny Terry and Brownie Mcgee, The Majic band and Depeche Mode, just to name a few.

In his time as a musician, he has landed some top gigs, such as opening for Slash, Ozzie Osbourne, Elton John, Parliament, Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Joe Satriani.
He has played alongside Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple, Alabama 3 and members of the legendary British band, Pink Floyd. Jimi has also been a cast member of top New Zealand band, Fly my Pretties for three years. Has toured America, New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Ireland and Germany as a guitar player for hire. Soloist and with his band the Wreckage.

He has played some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Womad, Byron Bay Blues Fest (Aus), Big Suhr Jade Fest (California) Frankfurt Germany with his band the Wreckage.
Over the last few months, Jimi has written and recorded another full album of blues country songs with hints of Rock 'n' Roll. Collaborating with Nick Reynolds in U.K. Which in time will be released internationally.

Jimi has been as busy as ever during recent Covid-19 times. Collaborating with Kiko, a Maori Psychedelic Rock band generating traction in the Maori music scene as well as a two-piece flamenco/shredmenco duo with Ricky Mederios top traditional Latin guitar player from Brazil.
Jimi has also has been a bandleader for AHoriBuzz tribute set to his good friend Aaron Tokona on tour with many top local musicians.
