Taupo Rodeo

The Taupo Rodeo is an annual event that is hosted on Broadlands Rd each year. Here you will catch our best cowboys and cowgirls go head to head in bull riding, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, rope and tie and barrel racing. All events require amazing skill from each of our competitors.

We provide an action-packed day with entertainment for all ages. There will be activities for the kids and there will also be plenty of food vendors and other stalls where you can buy specialty items.
We have a large hill alongside the rodeo arena so that you're able to see all the action from everywhere. Our big screen also helps make sure you miss nothing and provides replays of all your favourite moments.
