Legacy Pro Wrestling is stepping up to honour the past and cement the future with its guardianship of the most recognised brand in Kiwi wrestling history, On The Mat.

Just as the original was the staging ground for yesterday's emerging stars and shining lights, the reimagined On The Mat will put the 21st century's talent on show with a live wrestling experience that will excite fans of all generations!

Like Legacy Pro Wrestling, the first all-new On The Mat is truly at the intersection of the past and the future. It will all go down at The Rose Centre, a fantastic venue at Belmont on Auckland's North Shore, between the historic village of Devonport and the modern hub of Takapuna.

The Legacy Aotearoa NZ Championship will be on the line, and this time it's going to be a rough one. Rugged Vic Craig snuck away from Tag Wars with the championship after another controversial finish! Horus won't take the defeat lying down, and has been granted one last shot. This time, for the first time, Legacy's main singles title will be decided in a hardcore match.

Also at On The Mat, the first-ever Legacy tag champions, Savage and Stone, will put their titles up for grabs for the first time. Stay tuned to find out who the first challengers will be.
