School Holiday Program - Whàriki Mat Weaving Harakeke

Come join Oriwa as she shows you how to make a whàriki mat from harakeke flax.

Challenge yourself with the next level of weaving! This is a great opportunity to learn more about Maori weaving arts with a tutor who has lots of enthusiastic creative energy and ability to connect with learners of all ages.

Open to persons 10+ years old and requires an advanced skill level, all resources are provided.

All children under 14 years old must have adult supervision.
