For this month’s Sci-fi Friday, we’re truly embracing everything dinosaurs!
First, Gondwana Studio’s incredible travelling exhibit, Dinosaur rEvolution: Secrets of Survival will be open from 6 - 7 pm for some Roarsome pre-show entertainment. Then, we’ll be screening Steven Spielberg’s instant classic, Jurassic Park!
Paleontologist Alan Grant and paleobotanist Elle Sattler are tasked with assessing the newest, ground-breaking venture by eccentric multi-millionaire John Hammond: Jurassic Park. Joined by celebrity mathematician Dr Ian Malcolm and Hammond’s two eager grandchildren, the group set out to determine if an amusement park with live, genetically-engineered, man-eating dinosaurs is a good idea what could possibly go wrong?
Sci-fi Fridays take place once a month in Otago Museum's Perpetual Guardian Planetarium. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
