The Success of the Pukekohe Onion Festival 2018 now returning as the Pukekohe Veggie Basket 2019
When we first knew we wanted to create a food and wine festival in Pukekohe we thought about what we could do to tie in the history of our town and the first thing that came to mind was the Pukekohe Longkeeper onion. The idea behind using the onion was to celebrate Pukekohe being the Onion Captial of New Zealand and to show case the great produce and eateries Pukekohe has to offer.
We have decided to do something a little different this year 2019 We have created the event "The Pukekohe Veggie Basket. An opportunity to celebrate fresh produce, local restaurants, cafes, food trailers and small business in the Pukekohe and Franklin area.
Come and be entertained and taste the Flavours of Pukekohe.
