Six-week Youth Development and Leadership Program

Initialize NZ, in affiliation with Youthline, is starting up an exciting new youth development project and we are launching our free six-week pilot programme in February 2019.

Our classes use improvisational drama to explore team building, interpersonal communication skills, building self-esteem and self-confidence, and letting loose your creative potential in a fun and supportive environment.

Who is it for?
12-18 year olds who have an interest in exploring their creative side and want to build their interpersonal and leadership skills.

Why apply?
- Let loose your creative side with improv drama, theatre sport games and team building activities.
- Learn simple and effective communication, self-reflection and emotional literacy skills.
- Connect with other young people who have similar interests.
- Take part in developing our programme, directly contributing to helping other young people build invaluable emotional literacy and leadership skills.

The free six-week pilot programme will run out of our venues in Grey Lynn, Manukau and Albany and classes will run weekly on either a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday afternoon from 4-6pm (subject to final registrant numbers). Please select your preferred day and location when you apply.
