This is the opening day of the NZ Mural Contest and Arts Festival.
The days starts with a street market, and includes a Fairy and Gnome Day Out. All situated in the middle of Katikati. There are fancy dress competitions, fairy garden competition, decorating a tiny fairy / gnome house. Street entertainers, kite display, art exhibitions and more. Loads for everyone to do.
