Natural Born Storytellers: Caught In the Act!

Are you ready for some more Natural Born Storytelling? The Story Collective is pleased to announce another evening of true-life tales at the fabulous Exchange Christchurch - XCHC.

Our theme is 'Caught in the Act!' - so if you have a story of exposure or embarrassment we want to hear it! Don't be shy - we are all human and we can all relate to being caught red-handed. Or maybe you were the one who saw something happen - a theft? an illegal activity? an epic Fail? We are inviting tales of scrapes, scrumping and all sorts of shenanigans. As always we encourage a broad interpretation of the theme... maybe you pulled off a brilliant prank. Natural Born Storytellers is a fun, supportive and welcoming space for anyone – and that means absolutely anyone, no experience needed – to tell true stories. They may be funny, sad, touching or terrible. People want to hear from you! Each night is themed with prepared storytellers, combined with spontaneous stories from the audience.

All ages are welcome but these are adult stories and may contain adult themes and so you must use your own discretion to decide if the evening it suitable for your children.

Entry is free - but we welcome koha to help us bring more story events to the Christchurch community.
