Holiday Creative Writing Camp

Learn to write stories like a published author - with a published author!

'Write Like an Author' is a fun holiday camp for young writers.

Held in a fun and supportive setting at Tauranga Girls College in Tauranga, this camp will see children aged 10 to 14 years create, develop and write awesome stories with help from award-winning author and writing coach Maria Gill.

Maria is the award-winning author of over 57 books. She has won the New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults Non-Fiction, and the Margaret Mahy Best Book of the Year Award.

Over three jam-packed days, children will develop their writing skills and discover how they too can write like a professional author!

The number of places on the camp is strictly limited so register early if your child is interested in attending the camp.

The camp is non-residential, and runs from 9am to 4pm each day.
The course fee is $180 including a discount for early-bird registration.
