Globally people are living longer, want to remain more active for longer, are enagged with their communities for longer, and many are doing this quite creatively. New Zealand is part of this longevity revolution wuth growing numbers of people viewing 'retirement' through a different lens.

Kapiti and Horowhenua is a thriving part of our country's economy and has its share of Enterprising 50 Plus businesses. Three local entrepreneurs over the age of 50 are kick-starting a network for people in this region, who at 50plus have started, or intend to start their own business.

These businesses many be conventional to 'out there' - a one-man band, or with multi-national aspirations. It doesn't matter as there are always opportunities to pick up ideas, lessons learned and 'don't do that!' from others who have bee through the journey.
