Don't Call Me 80s - NZ Tour

Don't Call Me 80s is the pride and joy of George FM DJ Grant Marshall.
Created out of a love of house music and a nostalgic passion for the songs of his extended youth (do we ever 'grow up') Expect the finest 80s cuts with a sprinkling of 70s and 90s, original versions, remixes, re-edits, bootlegs, mash-ups and more!
We WILL play your favourite 80s anthems, we will play big club tracks from the era, we will play songs that transport you to your teenage years (or thereabouts). Big synths, big floor, big hair (if you've still got it) and big sing-along.
Don't Call Me 80s' aim is to bring an older audience back out into cool nightclub spaces with music and people they can resonate with, this is the night you and your dancing crew need.
Dress up is encouraged (but not compulsory) however your bestest dancing shoes are a must.
Don't Call Me 80s is taking in Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington, Mount Maunganui and Auckland on this current New Zealand tour as the word spreads people can't get enough.
"The ultimate 80s music gig! We loved the nostalgic experience every time (been to 3 of them). A great excuse to bring out your neon tights, big wigs, and have a boogie with your like-minded friends all night long!"
"Always have an absolute blast at these events, such great energy and smiling faces on the dance floor. We’ve met so many awesome happy people we now consider friends so thank you"
"Love the amount of effort that goes into this event it is always an amazing night of production and music that goes into the success of the Don't Call Me 80s brand. It's always great to see so much energy that comes together on the night and seeing so many happy punters on the dancefloor. I'd recommend it to others if you haven't been to this event it is a must see!"
"I've been twice now and I am so excited for the next one!! A night full of smiles, nostalgia and non-stop dancing. Always a vibe!"
"’I've been to two nights in Auckland. Such a great night! Lots of smiles, singing and dancing. Always an awesome atmosphere. We’ve already got tickets for Wellington. Can’t wait!!"
