The East Pointers upcoming NZ dates are now cancelled due to COVD-19. Concomitantly, the band's remaining AU dates, including that in Gympie, have now been cancelled. Please see statement below from the band.
Thank you for your support to date, the band was greatly looking forward to being back in New Zealand for another wonderful tour. Hopefully we will be able announce a rescheduled tour at a later date.
"Australia and New Zealand. It’s after much thought and deepest sadness that we have decided to cancel the remaining dates on our tour of your beautiful countries. All tickets will be refunded.
"The current state of the Coronavirus has really made the decision for us. We can’t, in good conscience, continue to be the focal point for gatherings. We love our sweaty, dancey fans too much and your health and safety is too important to us! It’s a crazy time for everyone, know that we love you all very very much and will be back to play shows for you as soon as possible! We wish venues and festivals all the very best in navigating this strange time.
