Marc Rebillet debuts in New Zealand this March

Armed with his catchy house beats and comical improvisational performances, electronic-funk genius Marc Rebillet is set to amuse much-awaiting fans with an intimate debut show at Auckland's Powerstation this March. Before his NZ date, he will first be winding up events happening in Australia—hitting Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall, Sydney's Metro Theatre and Melbourne's The Forum.

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Marc Rebillet (aka Loop Daddy) first entered the music scene in 2016. Upon debuting, he soon became famous for his well-crafted songs made up of intricate loops—a combination of soul, R&B and house beats, blended with jokes about life’s everyday experiences.

2019 was a huge year for Rebillet, having sold out tours across North America, Europe and the UK. He has also been recently featured by Billboard as one of the Dance Emerging Artists to watch in August—following the release of his second studio album 'Europe'. Each of the record's 26 tracks were improvised, recorded and streamed individually via his YouTube channel, one-at-a-time whilst on the road during a 29-day trip in Europe. More recently, Rebillet dropped his latest track 'Work That Ass For Daddy' which was completely improvised in one take.

"Is Marc Rebillet the funniest man on the planet right now?" – Irish Times

"The Dallas-bred, New York City-based improvisational artist creates all his songs from scratch in a single setting, with his productions ranging from sensual R&B burners to hip-hop-tinged funk creations." – Billboard
