Australian pop sensation Tones and I has finally revealed her highly-anticipated headlining concert at Mt Maunganui's Trustpower Baypark on January 5, 2020. She will be supported by New Zealand's electro-pop songstress, Theia. Apart from her headline show, Tones will also be doing special Bay Dreams performances happening in The Mount and Nelson.
Hailing from Mornington Peninsula, Tones And I entered the music scene with her debut single 'Johnny Run Away'. It was followed by what was to become a huge global hit 'Dance Monkey'—the track that's reached #1 on official singles charts in more than 14 countries including UK, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Australia and more. Released last May, the song has amassed hundreds of millions of streams—owning the #1 spot on the Spotify Global Chart (the first Australian act to ever achieve this).
Tones and I, who's released her debut EP 'The Kids Are Coming' last August 30, now holds the record for the longest consecutive #1 for an Australian artist on the ARIA singles chart. She's recently captivated hearts during her opening performance at the 'Splendour In The Grass 2019'—with 20,000 punters coming to watch her midday set.
