New Zealand's much-awaited music extravaganza 'Laneway Festival' is back to bring you the hottest lineup of hitmakers this January 2020. It will once again be held at Auckland's beloved urban greenfield space, Albert Park.
Albert Park's many fine features go a long way to enhancing what is so unique about the Laneway Festival experience. Whilst at the park, punters can hang out under the shade of its big trees, watch their favourite bands perform, take selfies at the ornate Victorian fountain, eat lunch by the large floral clock and in the very heart of this garden sanctuary, or meet up at the oldest band rotunda in the Auckland region. There is no better inner-city venue than this adored Laneway Auckland home.
After its NZ date, the festival will then head its way to five outdoor venues in Australia—Brisbane Showgrounds, Sydney's The Domain, Adelaide's Hart's Mill, Melbourne's Footscray Park and Fremantle's The Esplanade Reserve.
In further exciting news, two of Britain's award-winning pop acts, The 1975 and Charli XCX, will be headlining the stellar lineup for 2020. Meanwhile, homegrown festival favourites Benee, Eleven7four, Mermaidens and Soaked Oats will also be joining the party, along with the other much-acclaimed heavy-hitters. Completing the already splendid 2020 bill are Auckland-based power-pop group, The Beths.

Meanwhile, the festival has just announced recent partnership with #PUMANZ. The new relationship is set to bring a massive lineup and good vibes to the festival's fourth stage, The Puma Block Party—formerly known as Alfredo's Dance Tunnel!
With Kedr Livanskiy sadly no longer available, newest additions Samo DJ, JessB, and Allysha Joy (solo) will now be joining heavy-hitters CC:Disco!, Tapes (live), Filth Akl and Friendly Potential DJs in putting on a foot-stomping dance party!
