Sons of Zion go on the road next month for their 'Come Home' tour

After capping off their nationwide tour in 2017, award-winning reggae troupe Sons of Zion are taking NZ stages once again, in celebration of their latest 'Come Home' tour next month. They’ll be kicking off the tour at The Mayfair in New Plymouth, before heading their way to The Good Home in Christchurch, Totara Street in Tauranga, The Powerstation in Auckland, The Factory in Hamilton, San Fran in Wellington and Coronet Peak Ski Area in Queenstown.

Released last month, 'Come Home' has debuted at #6 on the NZ singles chart and is already climbing the radio charts. The track follows their Top 40 smash 'Drift Away' which is now Platinum-certified in New Zealand, and is the #1 most played song on NZ radio for 11 weeks running—achieving the #1 NZTop20 NZ Single with over 10 million streams and almost one million YouTube views. 'Drift Away' was featured on their 2018 album 'Vantage Point', alongside a slew of other Sons of Zion hits like 'Leave with Me', 'Now' and 'Is That Enough (Ft. Aaradhna)'.

From their humble beginnings, to playing shows across the globe, Sons of Zion have amassed over 40 million streams on Spotify, more than 20 million views on YouTube and 100,000+ followers on social media. Apart from their acclaimed live shows, the group are also known for their notable music accolades which include: an NZ Music Award for 'Best Roots Artist' in 2018, NZ on Air 'Best Music Video Award' for 'Superman' and nominations for 'Best Māori Urban Roots Album', 'Best Song By A Maori Artist' and 'Best Song Writer' at the Waiata Maori Music Awards. Since their debut in 2009, Sons of Zion have well and truly earned their place as one of the strongest forces in the reggae music scene and 'Come Home'—the first single from a new body of work—sets the bar high for the next chapter in their legacy.

Don't dare miss Sons of Zion's body grooving live performances this August!
