'Snow Patrol: Live and Acoustic' tour lands in New Zealand this August

Following the worldwide success of their 2007 'Eyes Open' tour, British alt-rock legends Snow Patrol will be hitting the NZ stage once again, playing Auckland's ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre as part of their 'Snow Patrol: Live and Acoustic' tour this August. Aside from their NZ show, the group will also be in Australia for an amazing line-up of performances happening at Perth Concert Hall, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Melbourne's Palais Theatre, Sydney Opera House and Newtown's Enmore Theatre. Joining them as special guest is up-and-coming Irish musical artist, Ryan McMullan.

With their 2018 North American tour wrapped up with a bang, Snow Patrol are now gearing up to perform for their eagerly-awaiting Kiwi fans. They will be playing tracks from their chart-topping albums like 'Run', 'Open Your Eyes', and 'Chasing Cars', alongside songs from their 2018 release 'Wildness'—which was their first studio album in seven years.

Since their 1998 debut 'Songs for Polarbears'—which Pitchfork hailed as "an impressive piece of work"—Snow Patrol's melancholy anthems of heartbreak and separation have mended millions of hearts. They have successfully emerged as musical prophets, striking a chord in the minds and memories of listeners over six ground-breaking, confessional albums.

During their 25-year career, Snow Patrol have carved out a unique place for themselves. They've racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades including: 15 million global album sales, over 1 billion global track streams, five UK Platinum Albums, and Grammy and Mercury Music Prize nominations.

Armed with their melodic tunes and heartfelt lyricism, Snow Patrol are an act you don't want to miss.
