Ten days ago, much to the exhilaration of die-hard fans, Metallica confirmed their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand with their WorldWired headline stadium tour—the band's first New Zealand show since 2010.
Metallica will be performing at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on Thursday, October 31. Tickets to Metallica's one-and-only New Zealand show were eagerly snapped up from last Tuesday during the pre-sale period, and today's general release tickets sold out within 12 minutes.
The WorldWired Tour has played 130+ shows across the world since its 2016 kick-off. Special guests Slipknot will provide support at the Auckland show and all Australian dates.
