Australian indie-folk outfit The Paper Kites are about to cross the Tasman sea once again, bringing their critically-acclaimed 'Where You Live' tour to Christchurch's Blue Smoke, Wellington's San Fran and Auckland's The Tuning Fork this March.
The Paper Kites last toured New Zealand with their 'twelvefour' tour in 2015. Untiring and passionate, the band capped off a phenomenal 2018 with two critically-acclaimed album releases—'On The Train Ride Home' in April and 'On The Corner Where You Live' in September.

Co-produced with Grammy Award winner Peter Katis (Interpol, The National), the latest 'On The Corner Where You Live' album edifies the band's world class songwriting prowess. The album was produced at Peter's studio in Connecticut—a 120-year old Victorian era home that The Paper Kites lived and recorded in for five weeks.
"It's a collection of stories about these characters all living in an apartment building; I wanted to capture moments, feelings, it's about people and their stories," says lead vocalist, Sam.
Meditative yet complex, 'On The Corner Where You Live' is best listened to from start to finish as each story seeps into the next. It is an album for loyal fans of The Paper Kites but also one that's guaranteed to draw new audiences too.
