Following their 2015 'Evergreen' tour, LA-based indie-pop duo Broods are back to the NZ spotlight, bringing their latest 'Don't Feed The Pop Monster' tour to Christchurch Town Hall and Auckland Town Hall - Great Hall this March.
After years of navigating the pop landscape, Broods have recently returned to the fold with new music and a new focus. They wanted to get back to embracing their purest instincts and make songs that were true to them, without hiding behind any kind of facade.

On the new album 'Don't Feed The Pop Monster', Broods have reunited with their long-time producer Joel Little (Khalid, Lorde, Imagine Dragons) and have also enlisted award-winning producer Tommy English (BØRNS, K.Flay). At turns ethereal and frantic, moody and euphoric, the result is an album that's elegantly sculpted yet defies all pop convention. The first two singles from the upcoming album 'Peach' and 'Everything Goes (Wow)' were met with critical acclaim ('Peach' gaining more than 15 million streams). The duo followed it up with their latest single 'Hospitalized'—a bright and shimmering track about longing for a break from emotional accountability.

Most recently, Taylor Swift personally invited Broods to join her 'Reputation' stadium tour across Australia & NZ. Apart from this, Broods have also supported Sam Smith on a sold-out US tour, have played leading festivals like 'Coachella', 'Lollapalooza' and 'Outside Lands' and have shared stages with artists like Ellie Goulding, Haim, and Chvrches.
Born into an exceptionally musical family, siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott had their breakthrough as Broods with the release of their 2014 single 'Bridges'. The track appeared on their Joel Little-produced full-length debut 'Evergreen'—an album that debuted at #1 on the New Zealand Albums Chart and #5 on the Australian Albums Chart.
With 'Evergreen' winning four prizes at the 2015 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (including Album of the Year), Broods released their sophomore album 'Conscious' in June 2016, and soon saw lead single 'Free' hit the top 10 on Spotify's US Viral Chart. 'Conscious' went on to win five New Zealand Music Awards (including Album of the Year—back-to-back Album of the Year awards for Broods).
