The Prodigy to play 'No Tourists' tour in New Zealand this 2019

Award-winning electronic trio The Prodigy are about to make their epic comeback in New Zealand, celebrating the release of their latest album 'No Tourists' at Auckland's The Trust Arena this February 2019.

With six of the biggest and most influential albums already under their belt, The Prodigy have consistently proved to be one of the most thrilling live bands in the world! Vital and vitriolic, the band are a snarling force to be reckoned with, a maniacal beast of epic proportions.

During their spanning career, The Prodigy have sold 30 million records worldwide and have won numerous music awards including: two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards and two Grammy Award nominations. This UK-based group have clocked up a staggering six no. 1 albums including 1994's 'Music For The Jilted Generation' and 1997's 'The Fat of The Land'.

Always uncompromising, The Prodigy's influence can be seen across generations, turning metal kids into ravers and ravers into metalheads. The band have put out genre-defying acts record after record and they were, undoubtedly, renegade revolutionaries from the very start.

'Need Some1' was the pounding debut single from their 'No Tourists' album, a banger that features a classic house diva vocal sample from Loleatta Holloway. This was followed by 'Light Up The Sky', an attack of acid rock in which guitars combine with 303 mayhem, Maxim's spitting vocal and an uplifting chorus from long-time contributor Brother Culture; it is a track that illuminates the urgency and danger that has continually defined The Prodigy throughout their career.

The Prodigy will be supported by triple j unearthed DJ, Enschway. He is fast becoming Australia's "next big thing" after an extensive run of solo shows, along with sets at Splendour in the Grass and the Listen Out festival.

Don't miss your chance to witness The Prodigy's awe-inspiring performance in a very special evening this February!
