For the first time ever, Kiwi fans will get to meet their favoruite stars from the American hit TV series 'Twin Peaks'. Cast members Sheryl Lee, Kimmy Robertson, Michael Horse, Al Strobel, Dana Ashbrook and Executive Producer Sabrina Sutherland will be coming to Auckland's ASB Theatre and Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal for two evenings of 'Conversation With the Stars' this August.
'Twin Peaks' is the American drama television series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost that premiered in 1990 and returned in 2017 as 'Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series' with many of the original cast members. In 1992, a feature film 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me' was released and served as a prequel to the television series. 'Twin Peaks' gained a cult following and has often been listed among the greatest TV series of all time.
Fans will travel back in time as they meet some of the main characters of 'Twin Peaks':
Sheryl Lee is an American actress who came to international attention for her impressive performances in 'Twin Peaks', playing Laura Palmer and Maddy Ferguson. She also appeared in the movie version and returned for the 2017 revival.
After playing the role of Lucy Moran, Kimmy Robertson has been been the voice of many animated movies and TV series including 'Beauty and the Beast', 'The Simpsons', 'Gravedale High' and 'Batman: The Animated Series'.
Michael Horse is the man behind the prominent Deputy Hawk. Aside from 'Twin Peaks', Michael has other acting credits which include 'The Legend of the Lone Ranger' and 'Passenger 57'.
Al Strobel is the actor who played Phillip Gerard, he's been a one-time associate of Bob (Twin Peaks' killer Bob) and now a resident of the Red Room. Al has appeared in every season of 'Twin Peaks', as well as 'Fire Walk With Me'. His other film credits include 'Ricochet River' and 'Child Of Darkness, Child Of Light'.
Dana Ashbrook has played the role of Bobby Briggs in all series of 'Twin Peaks' and 'Fire Walk With Me'. Other television credits include 'Charmed', 'Dawson's Creek', 'Blue Bloods' and 'Chicago PD'.
Sabrina S. Sutherland was the Production Coordinator on Season 2 of 'Twin Peaks' and Executive Producer for 2017's 'Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series'. Sabrina was also the Associate Producer on David Lynch's 'Inland Empire', Production Supervisor on 'Lost Highway' and Producer of 'David Lynch: The Art Life'.
Presented under license from CBS Consumer Products and Showtime, the Kiwi dates will be a celebration for fans to hear first-hand some of the amazing moments during Twin Peaks' filming. VIP Meet and Greet tickets will be available to provide fans an opportunity to get autographs and photos with cast members.
