American Rapper Future Announces Auckland Show this September

Turn the beat up as American superstar and rap icon, Future, makes his way to Auckland centre stage this September.

There is no other rapper, singer or writer who simultaneously moves the streets and the Billboard charts with an influence that resonates with stars like Drake, Rihanna and everyone else in between. Future is music's most prolific artist garnering 13 gold and platinum singles, six top-selling studio albums, 12 mixtapes and 33 music videos.

Joining Future will be trailblazing, Kiwi hip-hop stylist David Dallas as his special guest. He's a hip-hop innovator New Zealand has seen in 20 years. To date Dallas has released four impressive studio albums, however, his most recent release (April 2017), Hood Country Club is undoubtedly his most poignant and lyrically strong.

Future had the best teachers any aspiring hip-hop artist could ask for as he entered the music scene seven years ago. Coming up under the Dungeon Family collective along with his producer cousin Rico Wade (Organised Noise), Goodie Mob and Outkast, it didn’t take long for the student to become a master.

With a style that mixes rapping and melodic chants and psychedelic street harmonies, Future has become one of music’s most sought after artists collaborating on tracks with Lil Wayne ('Love Me'), Ariana Grande ('Everyday'). DJ Khaled ('I Got The Keys'), Justin Bieber ('What’s Hatnin') and Usher ('Rivals').

In February, Future made history by scoring back-to-back no. 1 albums on the Billboard top 200 - anointing him as the only artist in Billboards history to do so. After surprising the world on February 17 with the release of his new self-titled album Future - his fourth consecutive no. 1 debut on the album charts in less than two years - not one week later, the unstoppable artist dropped his second album HNDRXX (pronounced Hendrix), which followed suit by debuting at no. 1 knocking his own album off the top spot.

In addition to his chart reign, Future’s co-headline 2016 Summer Sixteen tour with Drake was one of the highest grossing hip-hop tours ever.

Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to behold a musical genius who is simply inimitable.
