Russell Brand Announces NZ Show

Controversial comedian Russell Brand is heading to New Zealand for one show at Vector Arena as part of his 'Trew World Order' world tour.

Of the title of his show, Brand says, "We've been told freedom is the freedom to fulfill our petty desires but TREW freedom is freedom FROM our petty desires."

The show is "a rabble-rousing stab at creating, through the power of the crowd, a Trew World Order."

Brand is a British comedian known for his work in the Judd Apatow films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek, his books My Booky Wook & My Booky Wook 2 and as a presenter for BBC radio and his own television show Brand X. He also produces his own Youtube channel The Trews, which was started in February 2014 and has since surpassed 1 million subscribers.

Tickets to Trew World Order are available 9am Tuesday 2nd June from Ticketmaster.
