Cairo Knife Fight is embarking on a New Zealand tour to celebrate the release of debut album The Colossus.
Recorded across three different countries, frontman and drummer Nick Gaffaney called on Queens of the Stone Age's Mark Lanegan, American producer Tyler Fournames and NZ musicians Aaron Tokona, Joel Haines, Laughton Kora and William Knapp to collaborate with him on the album.
The result is an album of "great subtlety and dynamism [that] still maintains that fierce and razor sharp intensity Cairo Knife Fight is known for."
Joining Gaffaney for the New Zealand run of shows is guitarist, songwriter and producer George Pajon Jr.
