'Moves Like Jagger' hitmakers Maroon 5 are heading to NZ for concerts in Auckland and Christchurch later this year.
The multi-platinum selling and Grammy-winning band are touring in support of their latest album V, which debuted at #11 in New Zealand and #1 in the US and features the singles 'Maps', 'Animals' and 'Sugar'.
The band have come a long way since their debut Songs about Jane won them Best New Artist at the Grammy's in 2005. The band credit 'Moves Like Jagger' as reviving the group and they have gone on to achieve greater success, especially with lead singer Adam Levine appearing as a judge on the hugely popular TV show The Voice.
It will be their first performances in New Zealand. Their 2008 Auckland concert was cancelled after scheduling conflicts.
Swedish trio Dirty Loops will be performing in support for both shows.
A fan club pre-sale will be available from midday Monday 23rd March until midday Tuesday 24th March. There will be a Spark pre sale from 1pm Tuesday 14th March until 5pm Wednesday 25th March, while a My Live Nation pre sale will run from midday Thursday 26th March until midnight Friday 27th March.
General ticket sales are available from midday Friday 27th March.
