Katy Perry Prismatic Auckland Concert
The Dark Horse singer finally confirmed the December 19 and 20th shows after announcing the Australian tour dates back in February.
The Prismatic World Tour is in support of Perry's third album Prism, which debuted at number one in New Zealand and includes the chart-topping songs Roar and Dark Horse. Dark Horse is her 11th number one single in the US.
Opening artist for Katy Perry’s New Zealand shows is Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo, whose EP Truth Serum peaked on the Swedish Album charts in March 2014, with her single, Stay High, ranking 6 on the UK singles chart.
Perry was last in Auckland and Wellington for her sold out California Dreams Tour, and fans can expect a "visual extravaganza" of a show when she returns to Vector Arena this summer.

After selling an incredible 23 shows for her 2014 Australian tour, international superstar Katy Perry has announced that The Prismatic World Tour will head to New Zealand in December, playing two shows only at Auckland’s Vector Arena on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th December.
Presented by Dainty Group, the tour is in support of Katy’s smash hit album PRISM, which debuted at number one in New Zealand, 29 weeks on the charts and still counting. Now certified Platinum, PRISM produced the huge hit singles ‘Roar’ which topped the NZ singles chart for 11 consecutive weeks, and the double-platinum ‘Dark Horse’.
