2008 . . . The year of OPSHOP.
Cleaning up at the 2008 New Zealand Music Awards, OPSHOP won a phenomenal four awards, Single of the Year and Highest Selling Single for One Day, Highest Selling Album for Second Hand Planet and also the award for the Most Played Song on New Zealand Radio for Maybe. If that wasn’t enough, OPSHOP also won the highest accolade in New Zealand Music a little bit earlier in the year by picking up the coveted APRA Silver Scroll Award for Song of The Year for One Day and they also walked home with the Silver Scroll for the years Most Performed Work, once again for One Day.
The awards say it all really. New Zealand just can’t get enough of OPSHOP’s catchy sing along favourites, and they will be bringing the party to you as they tour to thirteen of New Zealand’s top summer locations. Check out all the tour dates here.
