With their new album Solid Ground released six weeks ago, The Black Seeds are pleased to confirm that their nationwide 'Solid Ground' tour which will end in Wellington this Friday, has sold-out across the country.

With 11 sell-out shows, including two nights at Auckland’s Powerstation last weekend, The Black Seeds return to Wellington for their grand tour finale this Friday 26 September.

Released in NZ on 11 August, their new album 'Solid Ground' has spent six consecutive weeks in the top five of the NZ album charts and is already close to reaching platinum sales.

The first single Slingshot has been riding high on New Zealand radio with the video for the single on high rotate on NZ Music TV.

Solid Ground has now also been successfully released in Europe by Sonar Kollektiv, and is receiving strong airplay and rave reviews in Germany.

The album will be released in Australia on 4 October through Inertia, and the band will then complete Australian and European album release tours in October/November.
