Crowds attending the event reached a record 132,000 over 3 days! This year is expected to draw record crowds of over 165,000.

Jim Beam will again add to the great atmosphere by providing the ever popular Jim Beam Bourbon Garden complete with big screen TV’s to capture the action. The Jim Beam party crew will be on hand to entertain the crowd along with live music from Eleven 11.

In the evening across both nights there is a stellar line for the Jim Beam Concerts, featuring Pluto, Ewen Gilmour, The Big Fat Jazz Bastards and The Feelers on Saturday and Supergroove, The Late 80’s Mercedes, Kora and Ewen Gilmour on Sunday. Both concerts will be held at Seddon Park, and entry is free with your V8 tickets.

On the track Jim Beam Racing with drivers Steve Johnson and Will Davison will be looking to keep their place at the top of the table. Davison won Round 2 of the V8 Supercars Championship Series at Eastern Creek Raceway Sydney, last month and is set to shine in Hamilton.

“We are really excited to once again have Jim Beam involved in this year’s V8s. The event has grown massively in popularity and our association sits strongly with an event that focuses both on our loyal and faithful customers as well as a newer future market. With our strong heritage as New Zealand’s number1 full strength bourbon the V8s offer us great exposure on all levels,” says Jennifer Robinson, Brand Manager Jim Beam.

There will be plenty of entertainment on hand throughout the day and it’s a must see event for car enthusiasts.
