If you missed their last gig, don't fret. The Black Seeds are back to wow us with their presence once again.

To kick off summer in style The Black Seeds will perform nine shows around some of the country’s finest summer spots between 26 December and 6 January 2008.

With 2007 having been the band’s most successful year yet, The Black Seeds released and toured their double-platinum album "Into The Dojo" across Europe in August, and completed a sell-out New Zealand tour in October.

The New Year’s tour will coincide with the release of the band’s new single/video "One By One". Do not miss this opportunity to see one of New Zealand’s finest live acts around some of the country’s favourite summer hotspots. It's set to be a winner.

As if it weren't enough that the Black Seeds are on tour, there's also a good chance to catch Shapeshifter while they tour around New Zealand.

Shapeshifter have just completed an extremely successful European and United Kingdom tour. Having two sold out London shows, a sold out Amsterdam show, receiving rave reviews and performed to frenzied crowds in Ireland, Scotland and Spain, Shapeshifter have been proving the epic ability of their live show over in the Northern Hemisphere.

Back home, Shapeshifter have just been awarded best Dance album at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards, their third album Soulstice has achieved platinum sales and their video "Electric Dream” won best electronic video at the 2007 Juice TV awards. They have released their first ever live album "Shapeshifter Live" which has spent the last nine weeks in the top 40 charts and in September had another national New Zealand sell out tour.

Across the Tasman, Shapeshifter’s success continues to grow. They returned to Australia for their third tour of the year to be a headline act at Australia’s renowned Parklife Festival tour.

This summer, Shapeshifter will be returning to New Zealand before settling in to write their fourth studio album. They will be supported by MC Tiki who’s just released Past, Present and Future album has stormed into the top 10 of our national charts and is his first debut release since performing as Salmonella Dub’s frontman. On the decks will be soulful DJ legend Manuel Bundy.
