Supermodel are a Wellington based alternative pop 4-piece formed in 2006, influenced by bands like Queen, The Beatles, The Strokes and Muse.
Supermodel is: Mark Hanify - lead vocals and guitar; sister Rose Hanify - keyboard and backing vocals; Michael White - bass and vocals; and Tony Kemp - drums and vocals.
Supermodel have toured New Zealand opening for some top Kiwi acts including: Midnight Youth, Gin Wigmore, The Feelers, Jonny Love, Frankie Stevens and Dane Rumble. Supermodel have also performed at some high profile Wellington outdoor events such as The Jackson Street Fiesta, The Island Bay Festival and Toast Martinborough.
This June, following a national tour, Supermodel will venture to the UK their debut album to record with respected Welsh producer Greg Haver (Opshop, Manic Street Preachers).
