Fresh from their nominations for three categories at the 2012 Waiata Maori Music Awards (Best Song by a Maori Artist, Best Maori Songwriter and Best Urban Roots Album) Paua performed alongside reggae giants ‘Katchafire’, ‘Herbs’, ‘1814’ at the hugely popular 2012 New Years Eve Festival – Exodus.

Paua’s smash hit “Coming Home” off the self-titled debut album, reached #7 on the 2012 New Zealand iTunes Reggae Chart and is a favourite with audiences all over.

Hailing from Brisbane this 7-piece collective has toured Australia and New Zealand and are extending their message to the world, as Jay - Lead Vocals/Songwriter says “We’re out to create and share music through a blend of spirit and drive that shines of uniqueness, quality professional musicianship and lyrics that have both meaning and inspiration”.
